Addictive Drums 2 Production Key (solved)

Hi all. I just upgraded from X2 Producer to X3 Producer. I would honey to start using AD2, but there is no product key provided in my account. I read the file that was included in the X3 Producer installation files that stated the following:

XLN Sound Addictive Drums Installation Instructions:
A full license for XLN Sound Addictive Drums is included with your SONAR X3 Producer purchase. The installer, however, is not hosted past Breeze and is available as a separate download from XLN Audio. The calculator you are installing Addictive Drums on must be continued to the internet in order to install.
To download XLN Audio Addictive Drums delight go to: and enter your Production Key. You will find the product central you need to provide XLN Audio from your listed under "My Registered Products".

 However, when I go to my Cakewalk store account, there is no product key for me to provide to XLN Audio for AD2. Any ideas or suggestions? Any employees or moderators on this board that tin can help? Thanks!

Nope, no serial number for AD2. I already read that thread that you linked (it's an older thread that refers to the time when Sonar came with Addictve Drums 1). There is no mention of AD2 in my account.

 So the merely thing I've been able to do is download the costless AD2 demo that anybody tin can download. Sure, the free demo is nifty, but I would similar to get full access to AD2 that should exist included with X3 Producer.

You lot take to go to your xlnaudio account, that's the simply place where Advertizement and AK load from. I do call back, though, that the Producer X3 package merely entitles you to AD1.

You have to go to your xlnaudio business relationship, that'due south the only place where Advertizing and AK load from. I practice recall, though, that the Producer X3 packet only entitles y'all to AD1.

There's a gratis upgrade to AD2 promo going on.

 Yes, you lot have to go via the XLN Site, create/utilize an account (same email as Cakewalk Account I presume) and use the XLN installer (online(pref) or offline).
(I can't retrieve 100% that I required it ... and it likely doesn't assistance much that I upgraded via Steam ... but I did get an AD Product Code to my Steam Account).

 Simply, as quoted, is wrong. AD1 was withdrawn and since May 13 2014, only AD2 is bachelor (and information technology's entitlement comes with Producer). (ADpacks for AD1 still bachelor til the end of 2014)

I already accept an account with XLN Audio, already take the XLN Audio Installer on my estimator (installed information technology back in February 2014). But you notwithstanding need a product key to obtain the total version of AD2. Certain, I tin download the demo of AD2, simply that's not what I'm trying to do. According to what I accept from Breeze, it states "upgrade to SONAR X3 Producer to feel the most advanced DAW on PC with a gratis upgrade to Addictive Drums 2." So all I get is the demo version? I had this demo version since before I upgraded to X3 Producer, and anyone with a PC can download the demo version of AD2. So if all I get is the demo, and anyone with any DAW on any figurer tin download the demo of AD2, why does Cakewalk advertise that X3 Producer comes with AD2 when in fact all you get is the demo?

 The AD2 demo is free for anyone and everyone, so information technology simply seems ridiculous to use information technology as a selling point for X3 Producer.

Anyway, I've contacted Cakewalk support, but no response yet. Now I'm contacting XLN Audio support. Hopefully someone will take an answer.

Then I heard back from Cakewalk support. They sent me a product key for AD2, but unfortunately, information technology didn't really practice much. Afterwards registering the key, at that place was the same functionality in AD2 equally the free demo (i.e. there are no drum sounds, just the chief AD2 software and a demo of Fairfax AD Pak).

 This morning I heard back for XLN Sound Back up, who had to reset my licenses for AD2. At present I have the full upgrade, which includes a couple kits that were upgraded from AD1.

 And so I've got my upgrade now (yay!), but I wish this process had been more than smooth.

So I heard dorsum from Cakewalk support. They sent me a production key for AD2, but unfortunately, it didn't really exercise much. After registering the key, there was the same functionality in AD2 as the free demo (i.e. there are no drum sounds, just the main AD2 software and a demo of Fairfax AD Pak).

 This morning I heard back for XLN Sound Support, who had to reset my licenses for AD2. At present I have the full upgrade, which includes a couple kits that were upgraded from AD1.

 So I've got my upgrade now (yay!), but I wish this process had been more than smooth.

 Hello PharmD07 and welcome to Cakewalk and the user forum.  I see that you joined in 2007, only have just a few posts.  I have a like path, just wanted to let you know that there are a number of very smart people here who help out all the time.  They accept thousands of posts and volition jump in if asked.

 FYI, since you accept a resolution to your problem, could you change your heading of the main posts and add together  - solved  - or similar to tell anybody that the situation has been resolved.

Unfortunately it is Saturday am and I can't call Cake or Advertizement. Anyone know how I may get the extras this weekend for a session we were going to apply them with? Don't become me incorrect I think this is the best upgrade ever, (Sonar Platinum) but I surely do need the features at present.
